Kelynack (pronounced kel-y-nack in
English - and kly-nick locally !) is at the south-east end of Cot
Valley ; and the B3306 effectively forms the border between Cot and Kelynack
Valleys
|
Image 1 and 2 are looking towards Kelynack
from the east-northeast on the minor road running off the
B3306 . Arable farmland here , with the land dropping gently into Kelynack Valley |
The road runs through the lower valley
, with excellent bird habitat - a Yellow-browed Warbler was found in these
sallows recently.

Kelynack ( sw 372:301).
From Penzance, follow the main A30 to St.Just , turning left onto the B3306 for Land`s End just before entering St.Just. From Sennen / Land`s End - follow the A30 towards Penzance , turning left onto the B3306 at sw 375:273. There is very limited parking in the vicinity of Kelynack Valley and care is needed to avoid causing an obstruction. There are no facilities in this lovely quiet place. |
