The above images from 17th August show the dished steelwork in place on the recovery slip.
The concrete toe is complete, with the steel slipway awaiting rollers and reducing wedges.

The images above, taken on 21st August, show the launching slipway nearing completion.
The work on the concrete toe is complete and the jack-up platform is employed in final cleaning-up operations.
The imag on the right shows the reducing wedges in place in the keelway. These ensure that the keel of the boat remains
aligned with the centre of the slipway during launch (and recovery).
The rollers now need to be fitted to complete the slipway.
