THIS WEEK`S PLANNED WORKS

Week Commencing 22nd June
Work is planned to continue this week on the concrete toe of the launch slipway.
To take advantage of the big spring-tide low waters, some evening and night work might well take place.
Work will also continue within the boathouse on the assembly of the tipping cradle; and demolition of the remains of the short slipway and the temporary access works may start towards the end of the week.


 

The contractors have been taking full advantage of this week`s large spring tide low-waters and the concrete toe to the long slipway is moving rapidly seawards.
The platform machinery, along with a diving team, are removing the last of the old steel keelway prior to installing the new concrete sections.


25th June
Pouring grout into the fixed concrete slipway sections.
( That`s what happened to the traffic cone !!)
