Nanjizal, Cornwall - Lovely secluded Cove just southeast of Land`s End.
Nanjizal Cove |
|
Nanjizal is situated one mile to the south-east of
Land`s End....a superbly scenic Cove , it is never crowded (the images above
were captured on a lovely fine July day ) - due to its almost total
seclusion. Some summers there is a sandy beach ; others just rocks ...all at the whim of the sea ! Swimming is safe within the confines of the Cove - there are no lifeguards. Dogs are allowed on the beach. |
|||||||
As with all of our "west facing" Coves and Beaches ,
the sunset can be both romantic and spectacular ! The Coastal Cliff Path passes through Nanjizal ; and the Valley is a national `hot-spot` for Bird Watchers. |

Access | |||||||
There is no direct road access to Nanjizal. There is a
footpath from Trevescan (about ¾ of a mile walk) , alternatively
park at Lands End ( £2 in season) and walk along the cliff path (about
1 mile). There are absolutely no facilities at Nanjizal ...which to some degree is why it is such a wonderful place ! |
