Built as a private house in 1865 and competely refurbished in 1997 , Penlee House is now home to the historic collections of Penzance Town Council and Penwith District Council. Museum Open all year Monday to Saturday.....Easter Saturday to 30th September 10.00 to 5.00 - last admission 4.30. 1st October to Good Friday 10.30 to 4.30 - last admissions 4.00 Open Bank Holidays with the exception of Christmas and New Year. Please note - closed Sundays. Admissions :- £4.50 adults ; £3.00 concessions. Children free ; Saturdays free (donations invited). Free admission to schools and colleges . Tours and group visits welcomed , but prior booking essential. Facilities :- Café overlooking attractive park ; Gift shop ; Full wheelchair access ; Disabled toilet facilities ; Baby changing ; Disabled parking.
